Why Nerds?
Because the best tour guides aren't actors reading from a script — they're people who genuinely can't stop reading about the place they live in. Our guides are historians, teachers, journalists, and enthusiasts who happen to know DC obsessively well.
We started Nerds Giving Tours because we kept taking tours that left us with more questions than answers. The good stuff — the weird stuff, the contested history, the facts that make you go "wait, seriously?" — kept getting left out.
So we built tours around it.
